Barkel finds himself in a need of a new home after his owner was moved to an assisted living facility due to his dementia. Barkel is currently in a temporary home and is in need of immediate rehoming.

Barkel is a sweet black lab mix who is looking for a new forever home. He may be a senior but he’s healthy, loves to play and is great with his people! Barkel grew up on a farm with his canine sister where the two spent their days running free and hanging out. In the evenings he would settle in on the couch with his Dad to watch TV. Their dad had to give them up once his dementia forced him into an assisted living facility. Barkel’s sister has been adopted and now Barkel is looking for his own forever home. He would love to be an only dog getting spoiled by his new family. If you can find it in your heart to give this sweet boy a new forever home please contact me! I am his foster and have grown to adore him in the last couple months since he came to me but I cannot keep him permanently.
