VOTED MOST POPULAR GUY ON CAMPUS!

ADOPTED IN SEPTEMBER!

THE BASICS:

  • HOUND MIX; Sleek cream jacket accented with dark, chocolate brown swatches over his back,  ears and sides of his face.   Delicately freckled ears.  50lbs
  • ADULT MALE; Est DOB: November 2015
  • ARRIVAL: March 17, 2018
  • HISTORY:  Harrison arrived as a stray from a high kill shelter.  He has been attacked by a group of dogs and sustained multiple puncture wounds.  Once he was all healed,  the shelter was running tight on space so we spoke up for him.

With his good looks and winning personality, super friendly Harrison might just be the most popular guy on campus. He is gentle and playful and takes in his surroundings with a bright, alert expression and softly wagging tail. Just 50 pounds, Harrison has a slender, elegant frame and is not as large as his regal poses in some of his photos might make him seem. On a recent Springtime walk, bumble bees and other buzzing bugs brought out the puppy in him as he pounced and bounced trying (unsuccessfully) to catch them. On a play date with his next door neighbor Leah, he demonstrated excellent social skills and we think he would do quite well with another dog in the home. Harrison walks nicely on leash and politely introduces himself to others when offered the opportunity. He was named one of the friendliest dogs at his former shelter, and we couldn’t agree more. Come on out and meet Harrison. We’re sure you’ll be as smitten with him as we are.

More about me:  Folks delight in seeing me run and romp and attempt to play fetch if given a chance.   I’m wonderful with other dogs (perhaps that was why I got targeted -easy victim, you know?) and will nicely engage them in wrestling if they are interested.  My happy, more easy going personality makes me a good match for kids and as a gentle treat taker, the kids can get in on the fun of teaching me new tricks via treats.   Activating toys in a grassy area makes me very happy as well as a simple invite of, “Let’s go for a car ride!”   See how nicely I look in the car photo and yes, I am in the driver’s seat!  Recently called The Most Gentle Kisser, I can’t wait to put my pet skills to work.
