Reggie…Ready to be your new best friend!

Reggie good REVReggie arrived at a high kill shelter wearing a thick, tight collar. He was so frightened that he would not let shelter staff get near him to take it off. With a little love, time and TLC, Reggie quickly learned to trust the staff and give people a second chance. He soon started greeting the staff with kisses and hugs! Now it’s time to give Reggie his second chance.

Volunteer comments: “Look at that smile! Reggie is our newest friend that is available for adoption at Caring for Creatures in Palmyra, Va. He is another wonderful dog who found himself on the euthanasia list when the shelter that he was at in S.C. became full. CFC spoke up for him and he arrived earlier this month. Today I had the pleasure of working with him. He already knows sit. We worked on look and down. He did really well. He is treat motivated and enjoys learning new things. Reggie is a sweet, happy dog. He has a nice smile with that dark masked face and an adorable curly-Q kind of tail.”

Happy and friendly are words often used to describe Reggie.  He loves humans and would easily fit into any type of home environment.
