CHENILLE

DSH- Tuxedo
HISTORY: Chenille was surrendered along with her littermates, Satin (now adopted) and Mr. Dinkles, from a
local unmanaged cat colony with ~100 cats.
Introducing the adorable Chenille, sporting her fluffy black and white coat! Upon her arrival at CFC, she was quite shy, a common behavior observed in cats from the colony. Prior to her time here, she had minimal social interaction with humans, leading to her hesitation in trusting us and accepting affection.
Chenille, although still somewhat shy around people, has begun to make remarkable progress in her socialization since she has fully emerged from her condo. Even though she remains a bit reserved, she is now open to brief moments of petting. She has started to take an interest in cat toys, particularly wand toys! At first, she will sit back and observe as one is tossed around, and once she gathers her courage, she eagerly begins to chase after it!
Chenille is a relatively new resident in her room and is still adjusting to the other cats around her. For the time being, she tends to keep to herself, observing her surroundings. You can usually spot her lounging on the bottom section of the cat tree, nestled between the two condos in her room, or taking it easy on the shelf. If you’re in search of an irresistibly fluffy tuxedo kitten, your search ends with Chenille. We believe she will thrive in a home that has another cat with similar interests.
