Meet Mary and Maggie 2 of the cutest female tuxie kitties! They also have a brother, but he’s been adopted already. Mary has an all-black face and Maggie has a white stripe on her nose. They’re approximately 4 months old and domestic short hair. They must be adopted together, as they are very bonded.

They were found after being dumped in a church parking lot. I jumped at the chance to foster them and they’ve been a joy so far. I take them to work with me a couple days a week so they get lots of human interaction and they’re accustomed to riding in cars and being in a carrier.

Mary, the smallest of the litter and yet boldest, is extremely outgoing. She has no fear of people or other cats. She is very curious about my cats and follows them around, whether they want her to or not. She’s not afraid of my hand-held cordless vac either and will try to “attack” it while I’m using it! Mary loves being petted and is good with being held, but her preference is to play, play, play!

Maggie is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. She’ll come out of hiding if coaxed with a toy and then wants pets within a few minutes. She also does great with my other cats and is not afraid of them. She doesn’t always like to be held, but will melt like butter if you pet her. Maggie is definitely a lap cat in the making.

They love to play and run. They have boundless energy and love to chase each other. Their favorite toys are their own tails, springs, balls with a rattle or bell, and anything they can chase on a wand, especially if it has feathers.
They’re both happy and healthy. They are up to date on all shots, dewormed, tested negative for all feline diseases, no fleas, and I plan to have them spayed when they reach 5-6 months old, per the vet’s recommendation.

I’ve not had them around small children or dogs, so I can’t account for their demeanor in that case. But I know they’ll acclimate quickly to anyone with cats and/or teens and young adults.

If adopted before they’re spayed, I’ll cover the cost of their spays up to $100 each, payable directly to the vet of your choice. I’ll also provide their remaining kitten food along with some of their toys.
