Check out our updated COVID procedures

Over the past several weeks, many organizations and businesses in Virginia have experienced an uptick in COVID infections.  As it turns out, Caring For Creatures is no exception.  In view of this, we are now implementing a requirement that masks be worn by all staff, visitors and volunteers when spending time inside Sanctuary buildings.

Adoptions will continue to be handled by appointment only so we are able to ensure we have an adoption coordinator available to work with you.

We still plan to hold Volunteer Orientations the third Saturday of every month: Dog Orientation 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; Cat Orientation from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. You must register to attend. Please complete the Volunteer Application form on our website prior to orientation day.

Please check this space and our Facebook page in the event there are updates to our orientation schedule or if there are any other changes to our COVID policy.
