• SHEPARD MIX- Medium black coat of fur with broad white blaze on chest; 55lbs
• ADULT FEMALE- Est DOB: Jan 2013
• ARRIVAL: May 2020
• HISTORY:  Lana was an owner surrender at a high kill shelter.  The family was thinning out their pet inventory and Lana was one of the first (of many) to be surrendered.  When space became an issue, we spoke up for her.

Gentle and unassuming, Lana is a sweet girl looking for that one person to be her forever friend.  We believe she will blossom in a home without a lot going on, maybe a fenced yard for her to wander in and a loving human who has lots of time to dote on her. Lana is a wonderful leash walker and it takes her no time to warm up to her humans. Although a larger framed gal and a good size as well at 55lbs,  still Lana is incredibly easy to manage.  Doting and very affectionate and tenderly loving, Lana is hard wired to be an incredible companion pet.   Lana is calmly tolerant of other dogs but is likely best suited in a home without other dogs.  Count on Lana for a gentle hug and a kiss.  What a very special girl!
