I’M READY FOR SOME ONE ON ONE ATTENTION!

ADOPTED IN JANUARY!

THE BASICS:

• FEMALE KITTEN, EST DOB: 9/23/2022
• ARRIVAL: 11/16/2022
• HISTORY: Laverne was surrendered along with her sister Shirley from a local cat colony.
• Laverne will be ready for adoption on January 3, 2023

Laverne arrived at CFC along with her sister Shirley from a local cat colony. They were both very small, scared and covered in fleas. Sadly, along with many other cats that we have taken in from this colony, she is the victim of lack of care that is typical of a cat colony. We have seen to Laverne’s flea issue. She has quickly came around from being scared and shy. Laverne now eagerly waits at the door of her condo when she sees people. She likes to be picked and to be petted and loves attention. We hope to see more of her friendly personality shine through as she get more comfortable at CFC.

Volunteer Thought: Laverne is a total doll baby! This stunning lady with the semi-plush coat can’t wait for folks to come on by and say “Hi.” She will do a tiny little dance for you in her cage hoping you’ll pick her up and love on her. She was a tricky one for photo time as she had a hard time staying still and was in constant sashay mode. On a slightly different note, her sibling Shirley is a dear, little one who is still pretty shy. She arrived even more depleted than Laverne but she’s working very hard every day to overcome her very challenging start in life. She will emit a tiny hiss but she’s perfectly harmless and with some steady human interaction will nicely come along. Certainly, having her sister Laverne by her side is a huge comfort to her. Big sister Laverne brings comfort and joy to her sibling and has the same effect on us as well. Please check her out and or both tabbies. Such lovely kitties.
