Martha Will Not Disappoint!

Found abandoned in an apartment and taken to a high kill shelter, Martha is calm, loving and petite seven-year old bully breed mix with a beautiful brindle coat. Martha sat in a full shelter without adoption or rescue interest due to the many obstacles in her way, the biggest one being that she had tested positive for heartworms. Once her heartworm treatment was completed in SC, we welcomed Martha to our sanctuary.

“Martha is so incredible!” her recent foster said. “She loves all dogs, small and large, puppy or adult. She acts like a puppy with her energy level!” Martha is a petite, super polite, cuddly, loving little lady. She is calm and considerate meeting both humans and other dogs. Nicely strolling over to ask for a back scratch or to simply be near you, little Miss Martha loves a good game of fetch. Martha would be an excellent choice for just about any home. Kids would make her smile, older folks could easily manage her and a home with or without dogs would be fine so long as she had a nice comfy bed to curl up in and take a deep snooze.
