HISTORY: Louise was trapped at a local cat colony along with sibling, Finch (adopted).

When Louise first arrived she was very shy and was not interested in attention from many people. With time and patience this sweet girl has learned to trust and adore all of the attention she receives from everyone!
*Look at this sweet girl now! Louise is a favorite among CFC staff and volunteers! “Louise came in as a terrified baby who wouldn’t allow any human interaction and now she comes up and greets me and enjoys snuggles and belly rubs. She loves to follow you around!” -Heather (CFC staff).
*Louise is very friendly and loves to be cuddled. She is always ready for attention from the people visiting her. *Louise loves to be petted and will curl up in your lap for a little lap time! She will play with cat toys, although now that she is a bit older she also likes her naptime near a window!
*If you are interested in a sweet and cuddly cat that is always up for attention, Louise just may be the cat you are looking for!

December Update 2023:   Our pretty black velvet lady is poised and calm and doesn’t ask for much.   More recently,   she has opted to simply chill and relax on one of our window ledges to watch all the antics in the room- younger cats running and chasing each other around and then observing the human cleaning crew as they come and go and care for everyone.   She’s content being pet but isn’t pushy and won’t ask for it.  She’s so darn cute and pleasant though, you’ll wish to walk the walk to come to her spot and share yourself with her.   Petite and very appealing,  Louise just might be the perfect one for you!

March Update 2024: Louise has been on a bit of a journey over the last couple months and her path has circled back to us. Louise was adopted into a wonderful home as a single cat with some younger kids. The family worked very hard to help Louise settle in but when she was still hiding and not embracing her new home environment, the family did the brave thing and the right thing to bring her back to us. We feel a home with other well adjusted cats to show her the ropes and perhaps only older kids might be a better choice for Louise to thrive and be her best pet self. Please DO ask about Louise as she’s as good as gold and her new family is out there. Perhaps it’s with you!
