HISTORY: Angie was found living at a carwash. When folks learned the carwash was being demolished, they trapped Angie and we welcomed her here!
If you visit Room L-2, you need to look up our sassy Angie. You may find her on top of a condo with friends. She is a chubby cheeked Tabbyco sweetheart looking for her forever home. Her chipmunk cheeks may partially be attributed to her love of treats. Volunteer Scott says his breakthrough with making friends with Angie was the treats. You may find her in a cozy bed on a shelf welcoming loving even without treats, but goodies will pretty much guarantee it. It’s not unusual to see her in the company of other kitties- she’s not best friends with them but ok sharing her space/realm with them. Our sweetheart of a girl comes in peace and is graced with a calm, gentle vibe. She is ready to wow YOU…in her own quiet way…hoping you might consider bringing her home.
Dec 2025 Update: First word out of many mouths is that I’m “sweet. ” I love this so very much. I’m often positioned on a table in between 2 condos which is ideal for when my volunteer friend Scott comes for his bi-weekly visits. I’m standing tall and proud and eager to get soft caresses on my back. While Scott normally sits on the pretty blue steps in the room and many other kitties happily trot over for attention, he knows to come to me, so I have perfectly trained him. I’ve not really developed any “best friends” in my room but I guess if I had a closer friend, it would be newer arrival Brie. She’s a cool girl- much more brave than I am and able to work the whole room- so I’m thinking she’s a good role model for slightly bashful me.
Fall 2025 Update: Picture this. We’re all familiar with Snoopy. You know, the famous beagle who was often found draped on his back on the top of his dog house. Now picture this. I’m at the very tippy top of a house positioned on a tall scratching post tree. I’m at the highest point in my room! I’m on that house, back up and belly down, legs draped over the sides. Without doubt, this is my new pose and I’m not looking to change it any time soon. For full disclosure, I kind of booted kitty Allison out of the house, where I took residence initially, but now I’m on the roof. Life is grand up here. I still have my human friend Scott stopping by to call on me. He carefully balances on a step stool so he can reach up and give me some well deserved pets. I enjoy watching the world go by from my aerie (of sorts).
