HISTORY: Astrid was surrendered, along with her littermates Eep and Guy, from a large unmanaged cat colony with ~100 cats.

Say hello to Astrid. This beautiful little tabby girl arrived incredibly scared and would shy away from any attention she was receiving from people. Fast forward to now…

With a bit of attention and socialization from our staff and volunteers, Astrid has begun to learn that trusting people has a positive outcome. She is still a bit shyer than her littermates, though she is open to pets. At this time, Astrid prefers to keep her paws on the ground, and she is very uncertain when handled. This may change as her trust in humans grows with more socialization. Astrid gets along well with her littermates. They spend their days romping around together and playing with the many cat toys in their condo. Though there are some times that she likes to spend some time to herself napping on one of their shelves. We cannot wait to see Astrid’s personality emerge as she continues to gain trust in people.
