Athletic, curious girl who keeps the good times rolling!

Say hello to Astrid. This beautiful little tabby girl arrived incredibly scared and would shy away from any attention she was receiving from people. Fast forward to now…

With a bit of attention and socialization from our staff and volunteers, Astrid has begun to learn that trusting people has a positive outcome. She is still a bit shyer than her littermates, though she is open to pets. At this time, Astrid prefers to keep her paws on the ground, and she is very uncertain when handled. This may change as her trust in humans grows with more socialization. Astrid gets along well with her littermates. They spend their days romping around together and playing with the many cat toys in their condo. Though there are some times that she likes to spend some time to herself napping on one of their shelves. We cannot wait to see Astrid’s personality emerge as she continues to gain trust in people.

Volunteer Update November 2024: She’s out and about!! Our pretty little black tabby girl is loose in R2 and she’s making the most of it! Our sleek, athletically inclined feline is a master explorer, jumper and climber and honestly having the best time on the discovery mission of her new space. Effortlessly mixing and mingling and weaving in and around and about all the other 4 leggeds in her room, it’s clear she’s having a blast and eager to get the most out of her new settings. She can be a little cautious as the 2 legged species offer her a pet but she’s getting the hang of it and we’re loving seeing her so buoyant, bouncy and making the most of her days. You got this girl!!
