Domestic Long Hair- Solid Black
It’s always great to have friends in high places and our most beautiful black velvet girl BELINDA is typically surrounded by a bevy of kitty friends. She’s also typically hanging out on the top of one of our condos….hence “Friends in high places.” Arriving as a very, very shy stray, it’s taken some time for Belinda to find her footing under our patient care and how gratifying it is to now be able to reach out and love on her and she’s not overwhelmed and showing us flat ears. LOL. She’s enjoying our attention!!
One of our regular volunteers reports he’s able to routinely pet and stroke our pretty lady and she’s totally getting into it with her arched back and positive body language. He’s a bit careful and cautious as Belinda has other kitties right up next to her who are newer and very shy and a tad swatty. No doubt it’s a labor of love to make sure Belinda gets the attention and strokes she deserves!
We’re super excited to see the progress with Belinda and believe the sky is the limit for her as a pet. A home pre stocked with well balanced kitties or a cat would be ideal so they can show her the ropes. Who doesn’t love a long haired black velvet beauty??
