BOOTS

HISTORY:  Boots was trapped in a cat colony.  When he tested positive for FELV,  his human reached out to us for rehoming assist.

Our Boots may not have been made for walking but he is great at flopping. He is a striking spotted brown tabby with of course white boots. Boots is an observer. You can find him on his catio watching the world go by. But he also likes to know what you are doing. He will jump on your lap for a quick love session. Boots is a totally peaceful guy. He will greet you at the door to say hello and take a peek at what is going on in the kitchen. He has it all and is very easy to love.

More about me: Boots is a striking brown tabby with a distinctive white chest and paws, which is how he earned his delightful name. Though he is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus positive), this affectionate cat does not let that slow him down. He is incredibly friendly, especially with humans, and thrives on attention and affection. Boots has a remarkable penchant for human interaction. He will confidently approach you, ready to “climb” up with great enthusiasm, hoping to be picked up and cuddled. His charming personality and hefty presence make him hard to resist, and he quickly becomes a favorite among visitors.

One of Boots’ favorite places to be is the catio in his room at The Scratching Post. Here, he enjoys the fresh air and sunshine, watching the world go by. It’s the perfect spot for a cat with a curious spirit and a love for the great outdoors, safely enclosed. Boots has a playful side that shines brightly when he’s chasing after cat toys, with a particular fondness for wand toys. His playful antics and agility provide endless entertainment for anyone watching.

While Boots gets along well with his fellow FeLV+ feline friends, he generally prefers his own company when it comes to other cats. However, his harmonious presence ensures a peaceful cohabitation.
