Breed: Domestic Long Hair- Silver

HISTORY: Candy was surrendered from a local unmanaged cat colony with ~100 cats.

Allow me to introduce you to Candy, a gorgeous cat with luxurious long silver fur! She was rescued from a colony to participate in a spay/neuter clinic. Candy has shown considerable shyness around people, which is common for cats coming from such environments. Her previous experiences provided little social interaction, leading to her hesitation in trusting and forming bonds with humans. Candy can usually be found relaxing in the catio of her room at Magnolia Cove. While she gets along well with the other nearby cats, she typically prefers her own company and doesn’t actively seek out their presence. With patience and time, we hope she will come to appreciate human interaction. For now, we recommend quietly sitting with Candy in her space and refraining from touching her. Approach her gently, speak softly, and move slowly to help her feel at ease.
