COORIE

HISTORY:  Coorie was trapped at the local colony of 100+ kitties that we are slowly trying to close down. 

Now here’s a special girl that you MUST meet! Our delightful tabby COORIE was one of the easiest kitties to name when she entered the Sanctuary. Trapped at the local cat colony, even though she had not had much if any human interaction, still she was incredibly snuggly sweet so Coorie, which is Scottish for snuggle, was the ideal fit for our new arrival. Coorie has grown into a real beauty and is in the active hunt for a new home. Still a teen on paper and a bit at heart, our good natured lass is mild mannered and a wee bit meek and did we mention very gentle and soft in her ways? Typically, you can expect to find our velvet to touch girl on the window ledge chilling and taking in the sights of the room. She’s not one to jump out of her comfy spot to say “Hi,” so count on taking a stroll over to her perch to introduce yourself. Even on a first meet and greet, you’ll find she gets more and more relaxed as you slowly love on her. Start with her head and neck area and then work your way down her back. Coorie has done well with the other kitties in her room and will not actively seek them out but seems perfectly content to share her new life and space with them. Coorie is a very peaceful, amiable gal who will make an amazing companion. She’s patiently waiting to get noticed and once that happens, is confident her charm and love factor will quickly seal that adoption deal.
