HISTORY: Danielle was found as a stray on Shores Road with her kittens, Rue and Gia.

Meet Danielle, one of CFC’s shyer cats. In her previous life Danielle’s social interactions with people were limited therefore she didn’t learn to trust humans and accept affection. Danielle is still very shy around people and will not let you pet her. She prefers lounging out on the catio with her fellow felines. Although if you are a frequent visitor to her room and move slowly and speak softly to her, she may lean out to give your hand a sniff. Danielle will need a cat savvy person who is willing to devote their time and energy into earning her trust.

Update December 2023:  What a beauty!  Our pretty lady really stands out in her room which has a preponderance of ginger jacketed kitties.  With her sleek white coat and mini colored 1/2 bonnet on her head,  it’s easy to spot her.  Danielle is still in the mind set that it’s ok for you to keep your distance.  Shy and reserved and darty,  she’s not too keen on humans but has done a wonderful job in creating a life for herself surrounded by plenty of cats that enjoy her and understand her.  She’s not one to make a fuss and quietly skims under the radar as new cats come and go in her room.  She’s a friend to all but seems to prefer to quietly sit on the sidelines and watch her world go by.  We love and respect our lovely lady and are honored to have her under our care.
