EEP

HISTORY: Eep was surrendered, along with her littermates Guy and Astrid, from a large unmanaged cat colony with ~100 cats.

When Eep arrived, she was very timid and wasn’t sure of the attention she was receiving from everyone at CFC. Take a peek at her now…

With a bit of socialization from staff and volunteers this petite little lady has made amazing progress learning to trust people. Eep is enjoying the attention she gets these days!! She is open to pets, although she is still a bit unsure of being held. This may change as her trust of humans grows.

Eep gets along well with her littermates, Guy and Astrid. She likes romping and playing with the many cat toys she and her littermates have lying around. She is also very curious to everything going on outside of her condo, watching the other kitties move about the Scratching Post Kitchen area. We believe Eep would do well in a home with one or more kitties that share the similar temperament as herself.

Volunteer Update February 2025: Here’s an easy quiz for you lovers of all things feline, and devine: What is sleek and shiny- a veritable miniature black panther with big luminous eyes and sporting an immaculate fur coat? Why it’s our Eep.

She’s pure of heart and has not a mean bone in her gorgeous little body. She gets along famously with her roommates, and while she can be a tad shy with new acquaintances, she warms up quickly and is soon likely to melt into your lap. What a joy it is to stroke her velvety body and to have her belly up to trustingly offer her tummy for pets. The soft purr coming from this gentle girl is so soothing that you might want to belly up yourself.

In short Miss Eep is a gem, a treasure who is unaccountably still here waiting for her forever person or family. She would love to meet you!

Volunteer Update November 2024: Where in the world is our black velvet friend EEP??  Eep is super curious, athletic, fast on her feet and happy to hop into a lap for some nuzzle time.  When we were working on her new photos,  our sneaky friend was around and then she was MIA.  We searched and searched and searched.  Turns out,  she had found the most secret of hideouts in a cubby hole under one of the tables in the room.   She’s so tiny and sleek and nimble that it was hard to see her let alone think she might be comfy taking a snooze in this very unlikely, tiny spot. Nonetheless, there she was and out she came for round 2 of pics.  Happily stretching out on a human lap,  she soaked up all the pets she could garner while purring up a storm of contentment.  Just as sweet and personable as kitties are built,  Epp is a delightful young lady who has adjusted well to her new cat room.   She’s wonderful mixing and mingling with the assortment of cats in her room…think different age groups and personalities…and with all,  she’s welcoming and interactive but never too much in anyone’s face.  We’re all smitten with the little lady with the big personality and sure hope, you’ll discover her for yourself today.
