FLUFFY

HISTORY: Spotlight and sibling Fluffy were surrendered to us when their family lost their home and could not find new housing to accommodate all of their pets.

Better together! Sibling sweethearts FLUFFY and SPOTLIGHT have spent their entire lives together (7yrs that is!) and truly, one would be lost without the other. Having said that, they really compliment and complete each other. When their family lost their home, they struggled to find housing which could accept all of their pets but in the end, were not successful. We agreed to keep them safe (short term) hoping for a positive outcome in securing a new home, but alas it was not to be and now, they are full time residents.

Already, we have had them under our care for several months now and they are truly delightful kitties. Poof ball FLUFFY is simply magnificent. If you feel you’ve seen a full bodied cat hair do, you really haven’t til you’ve set eyes on Fluffy. The other “Fluffys” out there are imposters! LOL. Fluffy is a kind, gracious girl who is more on the quiet side. She is always up for some soft pets and attention but in general is one to sit on the sidelines while her bestie, SPOTLIGHT puts herself in the spotlight and puts on the show! Fluffy is very agile and rather athletically inclined although with her poofiness you might not think so. Fluffy enjoys exploring and scaling the huge closet and shelf area in our laundry room and finds the most curious areas to nap and also survey the action/activity on the ground floor level. She’s often for example openly spying on Spotlight who is in someone’s lap on the floor in the laundry room.

Spotlight is 100% uninhibited and is your friend at “Hello.” She’ll promptly come sashaying over to meet you and is a master figure 8 dancer, head butter and wet nose nudger. She is a flopper…ie she flops on her side and back hoping to entice some belly pets and rubs out of you. Of note, it’s not a ploy to then bite your hand (as can be the case with some cats) as she truly enjoys this level of intimacy with folks she does not even know. Spotlight loves, loves laps and cheek scratches. She could relax and recline in a lap for hours if not days on end! Spotlight is a very friendly, social, interactive kitty and loves being involved in the action.
