HISTORY: Guy was surrendered, along with his littermates Eep and Astrid, from a large unmanaged cat colony with ~100 cats.

Fuzziest of fuzzy with a quiet, regal and slightly shy feel!

Take a look at this adorably fuzzy baby boy! Meet Guy! Upon arrival with his littermates he was very shy and wasn’t certain of the attention he was receiving from people. And now, after a bit of socialization from staff and volunteers, Guy has made great progress learning to trust people. He is open to receiving pets, though he is still a bit uncertain about being picked up and held. This may change as his trust with people grows.

Guy gets along well with his littermates, Eep and Astrid. He loves romping around his condo with Eep and Astrid as well as playing with the many cat toys that are in their condo. Guy is also a curious little fellow, watching the other cats at The Scratching Post Kitchen run around playing, as well as watching animal care staff work. We believe Guy will do well in a home with one or more cats that share similar temperament as himself.

Volunteer Update November 2024: Prepare to feast your eyes on the most furry of furriest kitties, ever!  Introducing Mr Poofy AKA Guy!  Has this kitty blossomed, or what?  Arriving as a very, very young kitty,  Guy had a pretty impressive coat of fur as a baby but fast forward a few months and now as a teen, he’s simply G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!  Currently working full time in cat room L1,  oftentimes you can expect to see him on the top of a lower rising condo as soon as you enter the room.  Take the time to give him some much appreciated pets as you enter his space. Be slow and methodical or he might dart away!   Take a stroll outside to the patio area and he’ll happily follow you seeking your attention/affection but being a bit covert about it.  Keep in mind, he’s better suited with a gentle, quiet approach otherwise he might scamper away and then you’ve missed out on touching his velvet exterior.  Guy is a very appealing kitty.  He’s done excellent in settling into his new room, effortlessly mixing and mingling with all the other residents and seeming to enjoy having them as part of his daily routine.  With each visit as new pictures were taken of our GQ feline,  he made more and more of an effort to linger and be close and be part of the human action.  Guy is truly on the cusp of kitty greatness and patiently waiting for YOU to please come and experience him first hand.  He won’t disappoint.  Promise!
