HARPO

HISTORY: Harpo was brought to CFC along with his mom Minnie and brothers, Zeppo, Frenchy and Gummo from a local cat colony.

Harpo is an irresistibly charming black and white kitten. He arrived at CFC with his mom, Minnie and his brothers, Gummo, Frenchy, and Zeppo, as tiny kittens. One of the things that makes Harpo truly special is his friendly nature. He absolutely loves being pet and will purr contentedly for attention. However, he has an unusual quirk—when he is pet, he sometimes gags. This does not seem to bother him, and it only adds to his endearing qualities.

Harpo has also earned the affectionate nickname “No Toes” because he is missing the front part of his left back foot. Despite this, he is undeterred in his physical activities. Harpo climbs, runs, and plays just as energetically as his brothers. While his missing toes do not currently pose a problem, there is a possibility that if his foot lacks enough padding as he grows, it may require amputation to prevent any discomfort.

Harpo’s curiosity knows no bounds. He loves exploring The Scratching Post Kitchen, a space where he can roam freely when out of his condo. His playful spirit shines as he dashes around, engaging in spirited play with the other kittens.

Harpo is more than ready to bring joy and laughter to a new family. His playful antics, coupled with his unique quirks, make him a one-of-a-kind companion. April 2026 Volunteer Thought: Harpo has really blossomed from the shy guy he started off as. He follows me around the room until he gets the exact amount of pets off of me that he desires. Missing half a paw doesn’t slow him down much, he jumps and plays like any other cat. He’s my sweet boy.

July Update 2026-Harpo Venturing Outside! HARPO was discovered hanging outside on the catio. Our friendly, most loveable fella is most typically found lounging and relaxing inside his room. Was it the extreme heat that tempted him to check out the area where lots of his friends were chilling out? No matter the reason, we felt the need however to showcase our sweet boy who has recently celebrated his one year anniversary with us. Arriving as a very young and most tiny kitten, he and we feel it’s his turn next to head home! Very feline friendly, playful and social, we can see him fitting into most environments. Note: He was born missing a back foot…Uh, we can’t make this up…but he gets along like the champ he really is! Nothing slows down Mr White Booted Kitty. Ask for HARPO today.
