HISTORY: Mosaic (aka Momo) was transferred from Nelson SPCA,along with her “sister” Charlotte.

MEDICAL NOTE: Mosaic has chronic URI and a heart murmur.

If you’re looking for a loving companion with a heart as colorful as her coat, Mosaic might just be the perfect addition to your family, and she promises to bring warmth and affection to her new home. Mosaic is extremely friendly and has a genuine love for human companionship. She thrives on attention and affection, making her an ideal pet for someone who enjoys spending quality time with their feline friend. Mosaic particularly enjoys belly rubs, and her contented purring will surely bring a smile to your face.

Mosaic comes with a special bond to her “sister,” Charlotte. The two have been together for most of their lives and share a deep, affectionate connection. They were transferred from Nelson Co. SPCA to Caring For Creatures as a bonded pair, and it would be wonderful for them to continue their journey together in a loving home.

While Mosaic is a bundle of joy, she does have some medical considerations potential adopters should be aware of:

• Chronic Upper Respiratory Infection (URI): Mosaic primarily exhibits symptoms through sneezing. It’s a manageable condition, but it’s important for her new family to be prepared for occasional care and attention to her health needs.

• Heart Murmur: Mosaic has a heart murmur, which is a condition that should be monitored by a veterinarian. Regular check-ups will help ensure she continues to live a happy and healthy life.

Adopting Mosaic means welcoming a friendly, affectionate, and loving companion into your life. She is a cat with a lot of love to give, and her bond with Charlotte only adds to the joy they can bring to a home. Mosaic’s medical conditions require a bit of extra care, but her gratitude and affection are more than worth it.

If you’re interested in providing a forever home for Mosaic and her sister Charlotte, you’re invited to visit us to meet these charming cats in person. Bring Mosaic into your home, and you’ll be rewarded with endless love and companionship.

More about us Jan 2026: Girl’s Night Out
Three months after their arrival at CFC, the newest denizens of the Senior Room, Charlotte and Momo (aka Mosaic), are out of their condos!

They had their first taste of freedom two weeks ago when they were allowed out during the day. Charlotte immediately explored the room but her sister, Momo, was more restrained. It took her a few days to decide whether coming out was worth the effort.

Charlotte quickly engaged with the other Senior Room residents. She and Abu even did some play-chasing. This could become a budding romance as I’ve now seen Abu chase her twice more. He leaps on her back and she submissively flops to the floor whereupon he grasps the nape of her neck. She seems completely unperturbed by his advances.

After Christmas, both girls were allowed out full time. Charlotte likes to visit others’ condos. So far, I’ve seen her in Rocco’s, Momo’s and, of course, Abu’s. Charlotte also craves affection. She follows humans around and enjoys cuddling on their laps.

Momo is more reserved about being out but still rolls onto her back for tummy rubs whenever anyone approaches her in her condo. Steve, CFC Volunteer
