PAXTON

HISTORY: Siblings Paxton and Peyton were trapped at a local cat colony we are slowly working to close down.

We’re super proud of siblings PAXTON and PEYTON. Rescued from the local cat colony, these stunning tabbies arrived upset and hissy and not liking us very much. We’re used to this treatment (lol!) but remain unflapped by all the drama. Fast forward 6 mos and these delightful tabbies are ready to meet you!!

It’s great fun to watch the 2 banter back and forth with each other, taunt each other and just play with each other. With their condo doors now open and having full access to our very busy kitchen area, their world is now huge and they are embracing it!

Peyton is everywhere! Our very athletic, trim gal explores every nook and cranny, climbs here and there and enjoys exploring, going and doing very much. She loves attention in her condo but once outside and loose, she has a full agenda of investigating. Paxton was a little slower in stepping out of his condo area and to that end we have a cart placed in front of it which we load down with laundry so he can step out, help with laundry and get used to his new found freedom. Of note, he’s comfortable enough with one of the volunteers that he’s morphing into a lap cat.

Both kitties are very open to pets, body massages and interacting with us humans. They love toys and enjoy that engagement with the humans. We have several volunteers who really focus their time on Peyton and Paxton to help build their confidence and fine tune their pet skills.
