HISTORY: Q was transferred from Anna Rescues Kittens.

Allow me to introduce you to Q, a charming grey and white senior cat at Caring For Creatures. While we don’t know much about Q’s past before his arrival, we do know he came from a challenging situation and had not received veterinary care since his early years. Unfortunately, he is blind in one eye due to a previously untreated upper respiratory infection, for which we will be scheduling surgery along with a dental examination.

Since his arrival, Q has been the sweetest and most gentle companion. He adores attention and loves to be petted. Although he enjoys being held, he seems to prefer standing on his own four paws. He hasn’t shown much interest in cat toys—at least not when people are nearby.

Currently, we are unsure of how he interacts with other cats, but we were informed that he lived with three other cats in his previous home. Soon, he will be moving into our senior room with some of our other senior cats. We hope that this new environment will provide him with the comfort and companionship he needs in his golden years. As he settles in, we’re sure he’ll charm everyone with his gentle nature and endearing quirks.

For those interested in adopting Q, we believe he would thrive in a quiet home where he can enjoy plenty of affection and gentle attention. His ideal adopter would be someone who appreciates the unique charm and wisdom that come with age, and who is eager to create a loving, peaceful space for him to enjoy the rest of his days.

Update July 2026: We adore Q and are so proud of how beautifully he has settled into his new home with us. Our handsome grey and white friend is charming, friendly and suave! While he may not be one of the first greeters when you enter his room, still he’s not far away and hoping you’ll come close and give him some soft strokes and pets of affection. Q interacts great with the other felines in his room. While he does not have a bestie per say, still he is comfortable and seems very open to sharing his space with them. Q enjoys wandering the floor area and also enjoys higher perches to quietly observe and take note of the daily activities. Q has been a welcome and wonderful addition to our room of seniors and the only thing that he might feel he’s lacking is heading home to fill a full time pet position. If a chill, kind, loving senior who still gets around great and might be looking for one final adventure sounds like your kind of new feline friend, Q might be ideal for you.
