HISTORY: Stella was surrendered from a large unmanaged cat colony with ~100 cats.

Isn’t she stunning? Meet Stella, another of CFC’s shy cats that arrived from the colony. In her previous life at the colony, Stella’s social interactions with humans were limited, and as a result, she didn’t learn to trust humans and accept affection. Fast forward a few months and look at her now….

Stella’s socialization journey with people has been remarkable! She has blossomed into an affectionate and attention-loving kitty who can’t get enough of pets and cuddles. Watch her follow you around the room, melting your heart with her irresistible charm!

Stella is social and gets along well with the other cats in her room at The Scratching Post, she tends to be more independent and does not seek attention from them. She hasn’t shown an interest in playing with cat toys yet, we believe with time and patience, she will discover the joy they bring, especially in the company of people. We believe Stella will thrive in a home with like-minded feline companions, where she can engage in playful interactions and socialize with other cats.

More about me August 2024: Her journey is nearly complete and YOU, yes YOU can create the last and final chapter in lovely lady STELLA’s journey to a new pet life! Stella arrived in the spring as a shy teen trapped at the local colony we are slowly but surely closing down. It was OUR lucky day to be entrusted to care for her and we could not be more pleased with how she has blossomed and developed into the sweetheart of a girl that she is today. She is out loose and running free and frolicking with a great mix of kitties in one of our “younger” rooms of kittens. On a first date…aka meeting…Stella will pose just like the model she is for amazing photos but even more importantly she will be super happy if you stroke her long, luxurious coat and swoon over her. Count on her to roll over on her side so you can access more areas of her body and soon, the head butts will also start to come in! Stella has done well in mixing and mingling with the other kitties in her room and she might whisper in your ear that Laverne (a young adult) is her bestie. It’s not unusual to find the two of them hanging out with each other. Friendly, softly playful and eager to make your acquaintance, Stella might be better suited settling into a home with other kitties to help show her the pet ropes but if appropriately guided might also be ok going solo on her first ever pet assignment. We’re super proud of our lovely grey lady and can’t wait to see the arms and laps that she winds up in 24/7. Might they be yours?
