HISTORY: Stevie appeared as a stray in a yard. Severely underweight and suffering from a myriad of infections and health concerns, he almost did not make it but he DID!!
On the coattails of a newer book The Happiest Man Earth, our happiest of kitties STEVIE perhaps took a page from that novel to live his best life. The author of the book nearly perished and lost everything but since he survived, he vowed to smile each day. And so it is with STEVIE. Stevie was found as a stray and it was not expected that he would survive. Extremely thin and dehydrated, horrible discharge coming out of his eyes and nose, one of his eyes was almost completely sealed shut but yet, he persevered and lived!
Today, he is absolutely just the nicest of kitties and has made a 100% recovery. He’s at a good weight, his eyes are shiny and eager and he’s ready for any and all attention and affection. He smiles all the time. Again, we think he may have read this book!! During photo time, Stevie was sashaying around, giving his new human friend wet nose nudges, head butts and just the works. He loves his toys and will gently cradle and engage with them. Rolling over on his back and extending his legs in the air, it’s ok to reach out and rub that tempting belly area. It’s not a trap as it can be with some kitties. LOL. He’s truly grateful to have your hand give him a nice belly rub.
You can visually see his full bodied personality in his pics and surely, you also noticed how handsome he is, right? Graced with a silvery, sleek coat, his eyes are a soft, welcoming green and his long white whiskers nicely round out his exceptional good looks. We’re so excited to have been able to literally revive our amazing kitty friend from the depths of a complete physical breakdown. We can’t wait to meet the lucky family that gets to call this upbeat, most friendly of cats as their new best friend and companion. We’re smiling thinking about his sunny future and we know he is as well. Please come and meet our eternally happy and grateful friend STEVIE.
