TIMOTHY

HISTORY: Before arriving at CFC, Timothy was a stray that wandered up to an office warehouse very skinny and in need of immediate medical care. He was taken into a clinic where it was determined he had a respiratory issue and tested positive for FIV.  He arrived here with his good friend Tom.

MEDICAL:  Timothy tested positive for FIV.

Meet the remarkably curious Timothy, who patiently waited on our FIV waitlist for nearly a year before joining our sanctuary. With a gentle spirit and affectionate heart, he enthusiastically greets visitors in the FIV room at The Scratching Post, joyfully weaving between legs to bask in attention. Petting him brings him immense  happiness, though be mindful of his sensitivity to heavy petting, as he can become a bit overwhelmed.

Timothy initially displayed boisterous behavior upon moving out of his condo, energetically racing around and playfully pursuing his roommates. With time, he has since acclimated and become more composed. Although, occasional bursts of energy still lead to quick sprints around the room. Timothy maintains a well behaved demeanor towards his roommates, while also allocating time for his independent activities such as catnapping or toy playtime!

Mini Volunteer Update November 2024: Have you taken the time to meet newer kitty on the block TIMOTHY? Mr Handsome himself was on our waitlist for many months before we had space for him in our FIV+ room. He might say he’s super grateful that a spot opened up not only for him but his sibling TOM. Both of these kitties are sweet and friendly and ready for a second chance. Timothy is pretty front and center when you enter his room and for now, Tom can be a little hesitant (opting to hang out on top of a condo by a cat carrier box!!) but he’ll too mosey on down to meet you. Great boys. We’re super pleased to have them under our care.
