Meet Booker!

Booker is an 8-year-old mixed-breed dog who is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and in good overall health. He has received regular veterinary care and is ready for his next chapter.

Booker is a big-hearted, goofy boy who loves belly rubs, chewing on a good bone, and being close to his people. He’s smart, obedient, and eager to please, often showing off his affectionate nature in the sweetest ways. Booker thrives on attention and will happily soak up love from those he trusts.

Booker does have some special needs when it comes to placement. He has shown fear-based and resource-guarding aggression in the past, particularly toward cats and occasionally around food with other dogs. For this reason, he would be safest as the only pet in the home. For his safety and others, Booker needs an adult-only home where his boundaries can be respected.

Booker isn’t the right fit for everyone, but for the right person, he will be a devoted companion with plenty of love and silly charm to share. With patience and a safe, stable home, Booker can show off the best of his goofy, affectionate self and finally be the center of attention he longs to be!
