Meet Brown:
Brown is a nine-month old girl born in my neighborhood in March 2025. She was one of a litter of three and the runt. She lived outside in a kennel with her mom and siblings. Her mother is a Pitbull mix and her father is a German Shepherd mix. She was the only brindle puppy and that’s why I started calling her Brown. She has been in my care since September and been treated for severe anemia due to hookworms due to her excessive time outside. She is healthy now and has had her vaccines and is spayed. She needs a home with someone who has more time to devote to a young dog than I do. She is sweet and independent. She is shy when meeting new people but warms up and wants to be part of the group. She can be by herself for extended periods of time (no separation anxiety). She uses the bathroom outside with monitoring and prompts. She does best when I go outside with her, she is still working on getting completely house trained. I have one cat that she is around and they have accepted each other, she also played well with other dogs when she was boarded. She loves bones and chewing and is still very much a puppy; weighs around 35 pounds.
