Looking for a devoted dude? Introducing Sir Monty—a handsome, 6-year-old lab mix with a heart of gold. Monty is the picture of health with up-to-date vaccines, heartworm free, and neutered. He’s perfectly housebroken (no early wake ups!) and crate trained.

Monty is an affectionate companion for his caregivers and loves belly rubs, naps, and walks. He is very smart and knows several commands and enjoys playing with other dogs, puzzle toys and training games.

Monty forms deep, loving bonds with his owners. He is however fearful of strangers and protective of his resources around people he doesn’t know well. He would thrive in an adult-only home in a more rural setting with room to explore or nap in the sun. He is not leash reactive and will happily relax in his crate (which we can send with him to his new home) when you have visitors over.

Our home is simply too urban and busy with visitors for Sir Monty to live his best life, and we can’t wait to help him find his forever home. Apply today!
