Meet Raven — a gentle, green‑eyed tortoiseshell who is ready for her first real chance at a peaceful, loving home.
Raven began her life outdoors as a feral cat, but she has worked hard to adjust to indoor living. She has now been inside long enough that she truly feels safer indoors and would not thrive outdoors again. While her exact age is unknown, she appears to be approximately one year old.
Raven is spayed and vaccinated for rabies, and although she has not yet received additional veterinary care, she has been healthy, alert, and steadily gaining confidence.
She does very well with other cats — she peacefully coexists with my two resident cats and seems comforted by their presence. She can live with dogs, but only the right kind: calm, respectful dogs who do not chase or overwhelm her. My intention was to give her a safe, loving indoor home, but my own dogs give her no peace. They unintentionally frighten her, and because of that she remains skittish in a dog-filled environment. For her emotional well‑being, Raven needs a dog‑free home or one with extremely gentle dogs who will leave her alone.
Raven’s ideal home is quiet, patient, and gentle — a place where she can finally exhale. She is shy at first, but once she feels secure, her sweet personality begins to emerge. She is not a bold, center‑of‑attention cat; she is the kind of companion who blossoms slowly and beautifully when someone gives her the space to feel safe. With time, she will reward her person with trust, affection, and the quiet joy of seeing a once‑fearful cat learn what peace feels like.
She has striking green eyes, a soft tortoiseshell coat, and a calm presence that makes her a lovely match for someone who appreciates a quieter, more sensitive cat. Raven is ready for a home where she can finally know comfort, stability, and love.
