Meet Smokey! Smokey is a protective 2-year-old pit-bull mix. Don’t let his breed fool you, once he gets to know you and knows that he is safe, he will love you. Smokey is a mid-sized guy with the cutest floppy ears, and eyes. Smokey is easily the protector of our pack. Though he seems to be a lot when you first meet him, Smokey just needs a home that has time, patience, and love to reassure him that he is safe. Once Smokey realizes that, he will be your best friend and your strongest protector. Smokey does okay with other dogs, but would probably do best in a home with no other pets. He will need a lot of time to decompress. Smokey does great on a leash and absolutely loves going outside. Breakfast is his second favorite thing in the world. The first is treats… Smokey desperately needs a home that will understand him and what he has been through.
