Medical: up to date on vaccinations; monthly heartworm preventative; occasional seasonal allergy itching
Bucky, a CFC dog, who was part of our Presidents Day Pups who was adopted in 2020. While he is very loved by his family, they feel that their home is no longer the best place for him to be in anymore. The following bio was created by his family:
Bucky is a 5 year old coonhound mix who loves cuddling on the couch, long walks outside or just roaming the backyard. Extremely food motivated, Bucky is super smart and will love showing off for you if you have a treat for him! Even though he might be okay at a dog park, Bucky prefers to be the only animal in the home as he doesn’t like to share your attention. He also needs time to warm up to you but once he does, he’ll be sitting on your lap and cuddling with you on the couch/in bed! Bucky can be easily spooked with loud noises or those approaching him too quickly so he will need a gentle soul who is willing to put in the effort to gain his trust. Once he does though, he will be your best friend for life. He would also do best in a home with no young children but would be okay with older teenagers who are willing to respect his boundaries and earn his trust as well.
