German Shepard Mix

HISTORY: Lilly and Tilly were found on the side of a road in Fluvanna Co. A good samaritan brought them to CFC. They came in slightly underweight, and very scared. Since being here they have put on weight and gained some confidence.

Delightful pup with plenty of brains and beauty!

Tilly is a little smaller than her sister, but makes up for that with her tenacity. Although Lilly appears to be the boss, Tilly holds her own. Tilly is very smart, and a quick learner. She does seem to have some anxiety when not with her sister or with people. However, her confidence grows every day. She has already mastered many basic commands and is well on her way to becoming a good canine citizen. She loves people and seems to enjoy her new dog friends as well. Both her and her sister have a love of butterflies and moths. True to the breed both are very talkative. Tilly really loves to play in water. So if you are into watersports, or have a pool, this would be a plus for her. Tilly would do best in a home that has prior experience with her breed. She is likely going to be a big girl, so socialization and training are going to be key to her success.

Lilly is super smart. She has taken to her training like a pro. Lilly does have some anxiety when not with her sister or people, but gets over it quickly. She does great with meeting new dogs, and quickly makes friends with people She makes great eye contact, and has great focus for such a young dog. Like her sister she excels with basic obedience training, and has already learned a lot in a short period of time. Lilly is a little bit vocal when meeting new people, so socialization and continued training are a must. She would do best in a home that has prior experience with her breed and who will be dedicated to continued training and socialization. She is gonna be a big girl so structure, training and boundaries are a must.
