LUCIE

HISTORY: Lucie was pulled from a high kill shelter when space became an issue.  Quickly adopted when she arrived here,  unfortunately after serving her human for 5 yrs, they were no longer able to care for Lucie.  Now back with us,  she is looking for her new forever home.

Your new best friend is here and we’re pretty sure her name is LUCIE!! Lucie is da’ bomb and what a joy it is to have her under our care…once again!! Lucie originally found her way to us from a high kill shelter when space became an issue. As friendly, charming and loving as she was, it was no surprise that she quickly found her new person and off she went to her new full time, pet position.

Sadly, fast forward 5 years and Lucie is now back with us as her human can no longer care for her. There are many wonderful things about Lucie ….just as there were first time around…but what sticks out most for us, is that she has not lost a beat as she settles into her new normal. This girl is loving, snuggly, leaning into you and treating you like a long lost friend from the minute you meet. We might even say, she kisses on a first date. In addition, she’s giving you her full tail wag and greeting you with the most expressive and welcoming face, ever. Add in those softly swiveling hips and honestly, it’s hard not to love Lucie at first “Hello!”

Super charming, very friendly and gentle natured, Lucie is a doting, very loving lady. She loves giving and receiving attention and affection. Housebroken and crate trained, she brings with her experience in participating in doggy play groups, has done well with cats but no bunnies please. Lucie is very easy to manage and while out walking you can count on our sleek jacketed friend to check in with you periodically. Lucie knows sit, down and gives the most amazing “paw.” Voted the Most Expressive Face in the County as well as having lots of soul in her eyes, Lucie sports a well earned grey muzzle that she hopes soon will find its way resting on YOUR lap in YOUR home as YOUR new treasured pet.
