Medium : 20 - 45 lbs.
Beagle
HISTORY: Max came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. His family was not prepared to deal with his puppy energy.
Max is small but mighty. His lovable personality and his boundless energy packs a punch. Max is super intelligent and driven. He has already excelled at learning fetch and sit for pets. He is also working hard on his off command. Max is just what you would expect a puppy to be- happy go lucky and ready to experience life to its fullest. Max is known to be a jumper and quite talented at reaching great heights with little effort so high fences and tall puppy gates may be required. With some patience and some fine tuning of his ever growing skills, he will soon become a great K-9 citizen. Being such a young pup, Max would do best in a home that understands that he needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation to be the best version of himself. Max is also potty trained. If you would like a fun little 4 legged dude in your life, Max is your guy. Come and get your puppy love here at CFC.
More about me: My book is wide open. WIDE OPEN!! Still a teen, I’m very much a puppy at heart and on paper. I love to play, play, play and play some more. Toss a ball and I’m on it. I’ll even tote it around. Maybe, maybe not, I’ll bring it back to you. Super social, engaging and most active, Couch Potato is NOT my middle name. I find fun and joy no matter where I go and no matter what I do. I’m a great kisser and face cleaner and snuggler as well. Loaded with lots of extra spring and bounce in my steps, I’m a guy on the go who loves to go and do and explore. I’m dog social but I’m also rough rowdy in my play style so a companion pet who understands and enjoys my “type,” would love me!! Already, the trainer has taught me to “sit.” I can be a little ADD and distracted at times, so this was a big milestone for me. I have lots to learn and so many folks to love on. If you’re in the market for an energetic fella who would thrive in a busy home environment, please check me out. I promise I’ll nudge you a lot so we can both remain active in helping me exercise my brain, legs and lungs. Oh, the fun we’ll have together. Can’t wait to meet you! MAX
Training Update March 31: Max was SUCH a good boy. No, a great boy. In addition to our on site trainer working with Max, we had another trainer on site to teach the humans how to work with the doggies and Max was the doggy student in our class. He was very much in his element as he was asked to “sit” and focus on his humans. Already he knows down, he waits at gates to enter/exit, working hard on “off” command and also working on recall. He is described as very, very smart and quickly picks up on what he is being taught. What a great little doggy and an excellent “student” in our class. Way to go Max.
