Looking for a devoted dude? Introducing Sir Monty—a handsome, 5-year-old lab mix with a heart of gold. Monty is the picture of health—freshly checked by the vet with all his vaccines up-to-date—and he’s already neutered and perfectly housebroken. This clever pup has mastered several commands and can happily relax at home alone in or out of a crate. Monty loves other dogs and enjoys belly rubs, walks, cuddles, and sunbathing or playing in fenced yards.

While Monty forms deep, loving bonds with his humans, he thrives best in a peaceful home with minimal visitors and teens/adults only (16+). He has some fear-based anxiety that makes him uncomfortable and protective around children and adults he does not know well. He is happy to relax in his crate with some treats in these situations and is an absolute delight with his core family and known friends. Sir Monty will thrive with the right family who can provide him with a calm, stable environment and extra care when welcoming new guests.
