HISTORY: When Remington’s first family moved, they were only able to take one of 2 dogs with them. Remington was rehomed but when that did not work out, we spoke up for him.
Perhaps you heard about our new office dog REMINGTON and thought he could be ideal for you!! Well, you’re in the right spot to learn all the detail on this soft in his ways, kind, gentle middle aged beagley-hound mix!
Remington has been bounced around a bit in his prior life but gosh, he’s done an excellent job in settling right into our busy office environment. There’s a lot of commotion, noise etc and Mr Chill himself pays little or no heed and relaxes from the safety of his big poofy bed! He’s just happy to be surrounded and involved in whatever the humans are doing. Remington loves having people around vs having lots of solitary time so if you’re retired and or work out of your home, Remington would love to chat with you!!
Remington can be a little tentative/shy when he first meets folks but he warms up pretty fast and soon, you are best buds! He’s a low key, lower energy fella and having at least one longer walk a day suits his exercise needs. He’s an easy walker so you can count on a slow and steady pace. With prior experience with dogs in his former life, he’s open to joining a dog in his new and or simply going solo. In the office area, we have kitties in condos and he has little or no interest in them so a home with kitties on hand might also be a good option for him. Remington enjoys being rubbed and scratched and the belly/tummy area is a particularly good area to show him how much you adore him. Rope toys are also his choice for toys so be sure to have some on hand to add enrichment to his days!
Remington is putting in long work hours and while he loves his new job, still he has his eye on the ultimate prize- a new pet job! Does he sound like your type? If so, he’d love to hear from you!
