TITAN

HISTORY: Titan’s previous family found him as a stray approx 1 year ago. His prior family stated that he ignored the dogs in the neighborhood on walks and did well with their 5 year old child. They recently found black mold in their dwelling, which was making their child sick. So they had to move very quickly. The place they moved to would not allow dogs, which is how Titan ended up with us. They sent a rehoming request to us because they did not have any luck elsewhere. Mary stepped in to rescue this sweet boy.

About Titan:
Titan is a beautiful brindle and white bully mix. He has the cutest ears. One will fold back, while the other, not so much. Titan has a well enforced outdoor enclosure during the day, and a cozy spot in the T&E building at night. Titan is very intelligent, highly food motivated, and is super squishy. He is eager to please and is doing well with his basic training and manners. In the short period of time that I have been working with him, he has come a long way. He has gone from being a land swimmer on leash to more of a doggy paddler. He does better each walk we take. In his defense, this boy is pure muscle. He has a body like Arnold Schwarzengger. For such a strong boy, he is quite gentle. He already knew how to sit on command, but his skills are increasing. He is now doing well with the down, sit up, touch, watch, and wait commands. Titan does not seem to show much interest in his new dog neighbors, but certainly loves his caregivers here at CFC. He gives great eye contact, and when he does so, all you see is love. Titan has also learned to give paw. He will do either when asked to do so. Just to add to his bag of new skills. It’s very endearing.  This guy would make a great addition to a family. Lets help this guy find his forever home. 

More about me Nov 2024: Our most masculine of masculine doggies with his broad, built chest and chiseled limbs has the most wonderful soft spot. It’s not hard for anyone to find. In fact, he’s happy to share his ooey gooey center on the first date! TITAN’s whole family lost their home due to mold issues so it was a real scramble to get everyone to safety. Luckily for Titan, we had just the perfect spot for this handsome hunk and he’s lost no time in settling in and thanking us for helping him. 

About 6 yrs old, Titan is very friendly, welcoming and yes, he kisses on the first date. A curious, athletic fella, Titan is very much a people person and truly loves pleasing us! He is terrific at sitting for a treat and can be very focused. He really loves his snacks! A deep nuzzler and hoping to egg you on for even more pets and body rubs, Titan has the most endearing, goofy smile that we think you’ll agree will be hard to ignore. Plan on taking a seat when you meet our amiable brindle boy and expect to best friends asap. Graced with a goofy, playful vibe, Titan is curious about his surroundings and has been fast to check out our play yards, discovering a plethora of plenty smells but showing little or no interest (thus far) in activating/playing with toys. Titan has a big, very loving feel to him and he always leaves a big smile on our faces.

Of note, Titan’s former family found him as a stray when he was about 5. They have reported that he was excellent with their younger child and ignored dogs in the neighborhood. He has been calm and polite walking around our dogs here so we’re pleased to see other dogs do not stress him and that he might also enjoy them. We have discovered that very loud noises frighten him so he will go flat and low to the ground if he hears big “kabooms.”  We are working with him to help ease this stress point for him. We are enjoying our new brindle friend very much and can’t wait to discover all the wonderful pet layers that lay just below his sleek coat.
